About Deposit, Payment, Pricing and Discounts:
-
A $250.00 deposit is required to hold the puppy of your choice. Each "available puppy" has a link next to them that takes you directly to PayPal to make a deposit. Please specify in your payment which puppy you are making a deposit on. You may also go to PayPal on your own and send the deposit to preciouslittles@yahoo.com
-
Your Puppy must be PAID IN FULL, prior to pick-up or PAID IN FULL in CASH at time of pick up. If your puppy is being shipped, the puppy and shipping fees must be PAID IN FULL *PRIOR* to the shipment of your puppy.
-
Prices of Puppies may vary, as coloration, size, & also economic demands come into play, as does the number of puppies that I may have at a certain time. Regardless of what you pay for your puppy, I discount any 2nd puppy purchase.
Papers and Shipping:
-
If you buy a puppy “without papers” (which is a lesser cost), you can at any future date, contact me, and pay the difference, and I will mail you the papers for your pup's registration.
-
I do ship puppies. The fee varies based on the size and weight of your puppy and crate. The well-being of your puppy is my first concern. Therefore, I cannot guarantee that your puppy will be able to ship at exactly 8 weeks. If your puppy is especially small, you may need to wait for them to get a little bit larger before I can safely put them on an airplane. Please contact me for further information on shipping.
Addtional Information:
- Puppies sleep in their crate prior to going to their new homes so that the transition is less stressful for them. Not only are they already familiar with their crate, but I try to rub their blanket on their mother's scent.
- Puppies dewclaws have been removed.
- I want “my babies” to go to the BEST of homes, where they will be loved, feel secure, and be happy and healthy for the rest of their lives. It is important to me that “potential buyers” feel confident & comfortable with their decision to buy from me. For those reasons, I don’t EVER pressure anyone to buy a puppy, and encourage you to ask any and all questions that you might have. I will do MY BEST to answer them for you, or research it if I don’t know the answer(s). I have many happy buyers who have told me that they would be more than happy to be used as a reference, so IF you would like to get in touch with some of them, please let me know, and we’ll get you connected! I have even had people be SO happy with a puppy they’ve gotten from me, that they return for a 2nd one!!
Is a Chihuahua right for me?
If you are not familiar with the CHIHUAHUA breed, Chihuahuas are prized for their devotion, ferocity, and personality. Their curious nature and small size make them easily adaptable to a variety of environments, including the city and small apartments. Chihuahuas are often stereotyped as high-strung, though it has been shown that correct training and socialization can result in an outstanding companion animal. Chihuahuas are not well-suited
as small children's pets because of their size, temperament, and tendency to bite when frightened. It is recommended that children be school aged or older before adding a Chihuahua to one's home. Also, many Chihuahuas focus their devotion on one person, becoming overly jealous of that person's human relationships. This can be mitigated through socialization. Chihuahuas also tend to have a "clannish" nature, often preferring the companionship of other Chihuahuas over other dogs. Chihuahuas seem to have no concept of their own size and may fearlessly confront larger animals, which can result in injury. Below are a couple of links where you can further research this special breed to help you decide if a Chihuahua is right for you and your family.

How big will my Chihuahua get?
Although many people are looking for a “TEACUP” Chihuahua, there TRULY is not such a classification. Our puppies will normally be within the 4-6lb range, although we’ve also had some smaller and some larger ones. Puppies are weighed at birth, and the weight chart below can assist with an “estimation” of weight at maturity.

The Chihuahua Weight Chart is great to use as a guideline to estimate mature weight within a quarter of a pound or so. This table should only be used as a guideline, as many things can affect the mature weight of a puppy. Weight may vary depending on its bloodline, genetics, how well the animal is fed, etc. Weight estimates before the age of 8 weeks old are often inaccurate because the puppy is still nursing or being weaned and may be heavier due to fat from the mother's rich milk. This weight chart only works with purebred Chihuahuas. The weight chart is from a book called "The Complete Chihuahua Encyclopedia" by Hilary Harmar, Pub. 1972, Arco Publishing Co., Inc.
Cool Website:
I was informed of a really great site that I wanted to share. Not only can you help donate pet food by simply clicking, but there is also a lot of great pet stuff! Here is how it was presented to me:
Hi, all you animal lovers. This is pretty simple... The Animal Rescue Site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of getting free food donated every day to abused and neglected animals.
It takes less than a minute (How about 20 seconds) to go to their site and click on the purple box 'fund food for animals' for free. This doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate food to abandoned/neglected animals in exchange for advertising. Here's the web site!
