A little bit of history...

From as far back as I can remember, I have always loved dogs. As a youth, my 4 siblings and I wanted a puppy from someone in the neighborhood. My Daddy said “No!” But, Mom knew just how much our little hearts wanted this “baby” and so she arranged to have the puppy with a big red bow around its’ neck at Christmas.

Daddy couldn’t say no. And, just as it happens with SO MANY men that I’ve had the pleasure to meet, who were positive they didn’t want to have a puppy in the house, my Daddy grew to love “Cindy” just as much as we did. He maybe even loved her more, as she became HIS dog! Cindy was still with my family when I went away to boarding school.

The next dog that I had was when I was married. She was a Beagle. I began breeding beagles in the 1970's. I enjoyed that very much, but when I started to have children I put my love for dogs and dog breeding on hold for awhile. When my children were in their youth, I surprised them with a Cocker Spaniel Puppy. I began breeding Cocker Spaniels in the 1980's.

I am now breeding Chihuahuas. This is a very special breed that I love and adore. My first exposure to them came from my daughter when she adopted a Dachshund-Chihuahua mix. He was a love! When my daughter moved away, she took him with her, so I began my search for my own Chihuahua. I got my first pair in 2004, "Peaches" and "Georgie" from the state of Georgia.  I have since added several moms and two dads to my family. One of my moms is a Morkie, Ashley, she is beautiful. You can view all of them on "Meet the Moms" and "Meet the Dads." They are all special to me. If you have any questions about any of them, let me know. I am always happy to talk about my babies!

About my babies...

My Chihuahuas are all short-haired (smooth-coat), although several of them have long-hair in their ancestry, so we occasionally have some “fluffy” puppies with gorgeous soft coats! All of my dogs are CKC registered, and many of them are registered AKC and CKC. All litters will have at least CKC registration, should you choose to pay for the registration papers.

I strive to have lovely puppies available for you to choose from. They are raised in my HOME, and are trained to go onto puddle-pads from the time they first begin toddling around. They are usually well on their way to being potty-trained when I let them go to their new homes at 8 weeks of age. Our puppies are loved, played with, handled, and socialized with adults, children, as well as other dogs and puppies. They have plenty of room to run and play and they get lots of attention from us.  They are spoiled with lots of LOVE, but also have lots of TOYS to play with, many “blankies” to cuddle in, and the very best food. They are all fed ROYAL CANIN Puppy food from the time are weaned. They come with a week's supply of food when they go to their new home.

There is a lot of additional information on the "Extra Information" page. If you have any questions that are not answered on my site or you would prefer to talk...give me a call (707-363-1362) or send me an email. I will do ALL that I can to assist you, and would LOVE to place a happy, healthy “baby puppy” in your home!   Judi :)
